The Atlantic Canada Arabian Horse Association was established in 1996 to encourage interest in the promotion, exhibition, and enjoyment of the Arabian and Half Arabian horse in the Atlantic Provinces.

One goal of the ACAHA is to increase awareness about the Arabian breed, which is often considered to be one of the most beautiful, versatile, and intelligent of all breeds.  At the same time, the ACAHA provides an opportunity for Arabian horse owners, breeders, and enthusiasts to come together and celebrate the breed that has claimed their hearts.  In fact, you do not have to own or ride an Arabian to be a member of the ACAHA; anyone that appreciates this wonderful breed and wants to learn more is welcome to join.  The ACAHA is situated in Region 18 (which encompasses Eastern Canada), is affiliated with the Arabian Horse Association (AHA), and is a member of the New Brunswick Equestrian Association (NBEA).

The opportunities for getting involved with the ACAHA are endless.  Members are encouraged to participate in club activities and events, such as clinics, seminars, youth programs, fundraisers, and horse shows.

The ACAHA strives to create a supportive network that allows the exchange of ideas and knowledge amongst Arabian Horse owners and enthusiasts.  There are meetings for general members and an annual gathering to which all members are invited.
