The Atlantic Canada Arabian Horse Association was established in 1996 to encourage the interest in the promotion, exhibition and enjoyment of the Arabian and Half-Arabian horse in the Atlantic Provinces.
One of the goals of the ACAHA is to increase awareness about the Arabian breed which is one of the most beautiful, versatile and intelligent of all breeds. At the same time, the ACAHA provides an opportunity for Arabian horse owners, breeders and enthusiasts to come together and celebrate the breed that has claimed their hearts. In fact, you do not have to own or ride an Arabian to be a member of the ACAHA; anyone who appreciates this wonderful breed and wants to learn more is welcome to join. The ACAHA is located in Region 18 (which encompasses Eastern Canada), is affiliated with the Arabian Horse Association (AHA) and is a member of the New Brunswick Equestrian Association.
Join a network of friends! The opportunity for getting involved with the ACAHA are endless. Members are encouraged to participate in club activities and events such as clinics, seminars, youth programs, fundraisers and horse shows.
The ACAHA strives to create a supportive network that allows the exchange of ideas and knowledge amongst Arabian horse owners and enthusiasts. There are meetings for general members as well as show committee meetings and an annual gathering to which all members are invited
